Dream Sequence

Michelle

Michelle, looks like a real muso, doesn't she?

Michelle - the Investor and Management guru, who still has a real job in a reputable area of society, but wanted to get into the rock'n'roll business. So, with a little bit of convincing by Vhee and Scott, she dove into the murky waters of the music industry, and seems to be swimming quite well, and learning new things every day.

Scott

Scott on drums at the Red Lion.

Scott - Drums, Percussion, and the odd riff, Customer Relations Rep, and General Business Manager. Scott has been involved in band management over the last fifteen years; starting with the best Tasmanian band in the world - Aurora, through various cover bands, to helping organise musicians for that howling legend Swanee (currently touring with the Countdown Show), as well as a stint with, Alan Barnes, and the blues Hall of Fame legend, Kevin Borich.
Scott started playing drums at the age of 4. His first gig was around that time in a shopping centre! Twelve years later he met Vhee when he joined a band called Sabre Wulf. The band folded but the friendship didn't.

Vhee

Vhee, a mug shot.

Vhee - the guitar playing songwriter and atheist hippy. Started playing guitar on 27/02/83 after hearing the amazing sounds to be made through amplifying electric guitars. So he got his mum's beat up acoustic, stuck a microphone in it, plugged into a small tape recorder and CRANKED IT UP. After the initial noises that a dying cat would recognise, he learned to make things that involved things like harmony, melody, lyricism and emotion. Six months into learning he found a bass and started a band.!

After learning how to craft songs (first lyrics writ in a toilet... (Great places for contemplation, toilets), he and Scott put together Aurora, (...ahhh happy days...), and proceeded to have more fun than should be legal. Aurora toured Tasmania (it's bigger than you might think!) and recorded AAA+1=8, a demo which made 300% on the investment, got Aurora noticed, and was actually full of great songs. Local chart success came with a song called, Take Me With You, which charted at eight in the Tasmanian Top 10. We found out a while ago that Aurora has an entry in a book called, "The Who's Who of Australian Rock, 5th edition", which was a fitting way for that chapter to close.

The hippy creates and develops stories, for film, television, radio and stage, constantly coming up with ideas for tales of curious happenings. Some scripts and novels are completed (are they really?) and will be on offer soon, either as printed books or on sale to production companies.

After many years of creating music, painting and writing, the hippy got into sculpture: The carving on the homepage is for sale to the right buyer. A cricket bat is being made to donate to the Gunbower United Cricket Club in Melbourne. There is a working mini Les Paul electric halfway done. And a massive myrtle sculpture based on evoloution nearly completed!

The Dream Sequence name comes from the fact that Vhee has made a lot of things inspired by dreams he's woken from. Songs, stories (check out the Garden of Dreams five book epic), ideas for images...
